The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal, stretching from Zell im Zillertal to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml. With an incredible expanse of slopes and new mountain worlds waiting to be explored, it’s a must-see destination! The ski area boasts 150 kilometers of pistes and 52 state-of-the-art lifts catering to skiers, snowboarders, beginners, pros, families, and racers alike.
Unlimited skiing fun in the Ziller Valley
The Zillertal Superskipass is the ticket to the ultimate skiing pleasure. It is valid from December to April on more than 500 prepared slopes and 180 lifts in the large-scale ski areas Zillertal Arena, Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, for the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen (MOUNTOPIA) as well as for the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 with the Hintertux Glacier.
Fun for young and old
Snowtubing on the Gerlosstein slope is an absolute blast! Children as young as 8 can whizz down specially prepared tracks and enjoy the thrill of the ride.
If you’re looking for tobogganing fun, there are six toboggan runs in Gerlos, Wald-Königsleiten, and Krimml-Hochkrimml. And for those who love a good night adventure, the 7-kilometer illuminated natural toboggan run in Zell is a must-try. You can reach the top on foot or by taking the Gerlossteinbahn, which is also open at night!

Recreational attraction
In Zell am Ziller, the whole family can have fun on the 1,800m² artificial ice rink. With fresh air and breathtaking mountain views, gliding on two blades is an incredible experience.
For a unique experience, we recommend trying out the ice disco in the evening. In addition to ice skating, visitors can also play ice hockey or try their hand at curling in the Zeller Freizeitpark. Rental equipment is available for all activities.
