Luxury Chalet Tyrol: Wilderer
The poacher (Der Wilderer)
He quietly ties his backpack with the shotgun packed inside, closes the creaking door and steps into the cold night with blackened face. Silence. Only the sound of his own breath. The morning slowly dawns. Wafts of mist stretch over the forest. He must remain undetected. No one knows this forest – his forest – as well as he does.
He knows how to hide. Today he will shoot it, the mighty stag. A magnificent animal. And clever. Now he just has to wait. He is not allowed to make a mistake. Thinking about the hunters, a wide grin flits across his face. They will hear the shot, notice the animal is missing and know who it was.
Naturally they recognise his distinctive trademark. But they can’t prove anything. He is invincible in “his” forest. He lies in patience, finger on the trigger. He can wait…
