How can I confirm my reservation?

By email or online directly from the offer you have received from us by email. Simply click the link "View and confirm offer" and follow the steps in our booking tool.

To guarantee your reservation, we ask for a deposit of 20% of the total cost, to be transferred to our bank account within 10 days.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

We let our Alpine chalets for a minimum of 3 nights. In high season the minimum stay is 7 nights.

What are the cancellation charges?

Please note our cancellation terms as follows:

    • The Austrian hotel industry's general terms of business apply:
    • Up to 3 months before arrival - no cancellation charge
    • Up to 1 month before arrival - 40% of the total package price
    • Up to 1 week before arrival - 70% of the total package price
    • Within one week of arrival - 90% of the total package price
    • For cancellations made on the day of planned arrival, the package price will be charged in full.

Please note that we can only accept cancellations made in writing.

Are dogs allowed?

Your four-legged friend is very welcome here. A charge of €15.00 per day is made for dogs. Out of consideration for other guests, we would ask you not to take your dog into the bedrooms. Our furnishings and upholstery are very high quality and we would therefore request that you do not allow your animal to sit or jump around on our furniture.

You will need bring your own dog basket, food and bowl with you. Dogs must be kept on a lead in all outdoor areas and on all Alpine terrain!

When is check-in and when do I have to check out?

Our chalets are available from 16:00 hrs on your day of arrival. Our reception is open on the day of arrival from 16:00 to 19:00 hrs. Should you not be able to make it within this time, please let us know in advance.

We ask you to vacate your chalet by 10:00 hrs on your day of departure, so that it is free for our cleaning team. This is because we put great value on thorough cleaning!

What provisions will I find in the fridge on arrival?

We offer the best from the region! Because the quality of produce is very much dependent seasonal availability, we pay particular attention to the origin and freshness of food products.

This is why we only use products from local farmers and producers. For example, milk, butter, farmhouse eggs, bread from wood-fired ovens, bacon, sausages, hay-milk cheese, and yoghurt, homemade jams and honey. Each chalet also has its own wine and drinks fridge with fine Austrian wines, sparking wines and Zillertal beer. Mineral water and other soft drinks are also at hand. If required, we can also stock your drinks fridge according to your personal wishes.

How does the bread delivery service work?

Fresh bread and rolls from the local baker are delivered daily (except Sundays) to your bread basket at Sporer Alm.

An extra charge is made for our bread delivery service, which can be ordered daily (except Sundays). You can choose from our own assortment in-house.

Kitchen equipment - what is provided?

Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen. From dishwasher, fridge with icebox, Nespresso coffee machine (incl. coffee capsules), kettle, toaster, table grill, hand blender with various attachments, saucepans and everything else you might expect.

Our tip: In summer you'll find a Weber barbecue and charcoal ready for you!

What spices and other kitchen utensils should we bring with us?

Salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and a selection of organic tees, as well as washing-up liquid, dishwasher tabs, kitchen roll, toilet paper and tea towels are provided.

Facilities for children / babies

Please let us know by email before your arrival if you require a cot, highchair or pushchair.

How far is the town and the nearest shops?

Our chalet village is just a 15-minute drive from the centre of Zell am Ziller, where you will find several supermarkets and other shops. You can get many staple foods, such as milk, farmhouse eggs, cheese, meat and many different type of sausages from local farmers (e.g. at Enzianhof, which is just 1.5 km from Sporer Alm). On request, we will be pleased to stock your fridge according to you individual wishes.

How far are the ski slopes from Sporer Alm?

Sporer Alm is situated close to the middle station of the Rosenalmbahn cable car. You can either take the ski bus (the bus stop is only 200 metres from Sporer Alm) or go by car - "round the corner" so to speak - to where the Zillertal Arena skiing starts.

NEW Zell am Ziller/Rohrberg ski run from December 2015/2016.

Experienced skiers can reach the official ski runs via a small meadow slope, which makes it is easy to manage without a car or tedious queuing.

Do we need to bring our own toboggan?

We also have sledges of various sizes for our guests.

Is smoking allowed in the chalets?

For safety reasons, smoking is NOT permitted in the chalets! There are ashtrays outside.

Arriving in winter?

In Austria drivers are required by law to have winter tyres from 01 November until 15 April. We recommend bringing snow chains.
