Start your skiing day directly from your chalet!
In the winter months, experienced skiers can cross a small meadow directly from the chalet village and then after approx. 250 m join directly onto the valley run of the Rosenalm cable car. For inexperienced skiers, we recommend taking the bus or car directly to the Middle Station (1 stop by ski bus or 5 minutes by car).
Zillertal Arena - family ski area
The Zillertal Arena is a holiday experience for the whole family. Numerous practice lifts, children’s slopes and fairytale forests are waiting to be discovered.
The ski schools in the Zillertal Arena are perfectly geared towards families and children. In the ski kindergartens, even the youngest are professionally supervised and develop into true “ski pros”. The yellow FUNty, the arena mascot, is already waiting for his friends. For the young guests there are several fun runs, speed check tracks and parks to try out first obstacles.
Snowparks in der Zillertal Arena
Young skiers and snowboarders will find everything their freestyler’s heart desires in the Action Park Kreuzwiese. Experts and beginners of all ages can let off steam at the spectacular fun park, or rest in the chill area with Indian tents.

The second snow park of the Zillertal Arena, which is approx. 30,000 m² in size, can be found in Gerlos at the Vorkogel lift.
New: FUNTY SLOPE in Zell am Ziller
FUNty, the funny yellow elephant in the Zillertal Arena, gets its own run! The new FUNTY PISTE leads from the top station to the middle station of the Rosenalmbahn in Zell am Ziller. Here, the little ones can collect their first metres of snow outside the children’s area in an arena-funtastic way. FUNty won’t leave the kids’ side on the wide and flat ski trail: the mascot awaits with many surprises on the way from the Rosenalm to the Wiesenalm in Zell am Ziller in form of sound elements.
