Panorama trail to the Kreithütte
The hike to hut “Kreithütte” can be started directly from the chalet. After a one-hour walk through beautiful mountain scenery, you will reach the Rosenalm. From there, an easy path on the left leads through the forest for about 20 minutes to the Kreithütte or Simons’s Bergstadl. From there you have a fantastic mountain view of the main Alpine ridge and the Tux Alps.
Rosenalm
After starting from the private chalet, hike for 15 min through a wooded area to the middle station of the Rosenalm cable car. After the ascent, turn left onto hiking trail no. 10 and keep right at the fork. From there, a varied path leads along a mountain stream, woodland and goods road to the s’Legal snack station. Continue through idyllic mountain meadows and small mountain streams to the Schmankerlhütte. There you can consume numerous Zillertal delicacies. Afterwards, you can take the path towards the middle station and hike directly back to the chalet.
Short afternoon hike
You start again to the middle station and enjoy the ascent with the Rosenalmbahn. You then set off on the trail towards the Swiss stone pine and spruce forest. After a one-hour hike, you meet a road to the Gründelalm. There you take the path to the right at the fork and after half an hour you reach the Kreuzjochhütte. If you turn left, you will reach the starting point and can return to the chalet village from there.
